Samenvatting

Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) has proven to be profitable both economically as well as energetically. However, large scale adoption of the technology is limited by several barriers which were identified in the Climate-KIC E-use(aq) project (Hoekstra et al., 2015).
